Gradi is one of the well known Italian restaurant in Melbourne. It started with one original store at Brunswick name 400 Gradi then after winning the best pizza in the world 2014, quickly expanded to Gradi at Crown. Fast forward to their newest venture is their fourth store Gradi Eastland.

I haven't had a chance to visit the brand new Eastland mall but my sister in law said it was big and comfortable especially if you have kids. It has a big multiple changing room and plenty of parking space as well. I arrived around 6.30pm and greeted straight away by the staff, their service was friendly and attentive.

They served various beverages to suits everyone needs such as Mocktails, Fresh Juices, Tea, Coffee and much more. I started the evening with a glass of sweet mocktails then ended the night with tea.

Polpette al Sugo - meatballs, napoli sauce and basil ($17). The meatballs was extremely tender and very well seasoned. I enjoyed this dish so much that I wanted a little bit more of it.

Pacific Oysters - natural with fresh lemon ($18). As some of you may have notice my husband loves his oyster and just like usual he enjoyed eating it till the last bite.

Spaghettini al Granchio - spanner crab meat, garlic, chilli, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, white wine and lobster bisque ($36). I love the fresh spanner crab mixed in with light yet flavourful lobster bisque, it's a delicious pasta indeed.

Grigliata mista di pesce del giorno - daily selection of mixed seafood ($45). Loving all the fresh seafood on the plate, everything was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. Love to eat more of this! I

As for the desserts they have tiramisu, nutella calzone as well as their Zero Gelato but I wanted something light and fresh so I ordered Panna Cotta - Frangelico, praline, macadamia crumble ($14).

It was a great event indeed, full of delicious food and ended on a perfect note. They also gave me a bag full of goodies to be enjoyed at home. I wish them good luck but I don't think they need it. I'm sure they will be popular in no time.
