By Korea is one of those restaurant I have seen a million times over the past years but never get to try it out. There's no particular reason why I did not try it, it's just always seems to miss my mind or I'm too busy with my ongoing list of new restaurant to visit.

I finally visit By Korea cause one of my friend invited me in to have a quick catch up and she's craving for some Korean Fried Chicken. She said they have a cheap lunch packages worth trying so we did. The restaurant it self was simple, a nice place to eat.

My friend opted for Spicy Crispy Chicken with rice, salad and kimchi ($11). The chicken was a bit too soggy for my tasty even though it's not too bad, the portions also quite decent.

Original Fried Chicken with rice, salad and kimchi ($11). I prefer the original fried chicken just because it was crispier and not buried by the sauces.

The service was really slow and not attentive even though they are friendly. It was a pleasant lunch, full of funny conversations and laughters but Melbourne has so many Korean restaurant that it is crucial to be able to compete with the others.
