Auntie's Dumplings

Auntie's Dumplings is one of my favourite dumpling restaurant in Melbourne. I have been a loyal customer for years, it's definitely the place to go for dumplings in Carnegie area. It's well known for being busy, cheap and their fast service. The restaurant was simple, typical Chinese restaurant. We started our lunch with Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce. It was a pretty decent dish but nothing special. Simple vegetables with thick sauce on top.

One of our friend was craving for Xia Long Bao but sadly it's not one of Auntie's Dumplings strong dish. The skin was a lil thick and the broth has a little bit of fishy flavour in it.

Fried and Steamed Pork Dumplings. Their dumplings consistency was amazing, the taste and portions remain the same for years. Both fried and pork are my favourite, the fillings in each dumplings is generous and delicious.

Dry Noodle with Pork Sauce. This is not of my favourite dish at Auntie's Dumplings even though the noodles were silky smooth and the meat sauce was generous with meat. I like my fried noodles the best out of all.

Shanghai Fried Noodle. This is certainly my favourite noodles and best accompanied by the fried pork dumplings. Wok tossed with some pork strips, carrot, Chinese broccoli and cabbage combine with thick noodles, it's delicious. The noodles has a slight chewiness and had a balanced flavour of soy sauce, sesame oil and sweet soy sauce. Yum!

Overall, it remains to be my favourite dumpling restaurants and I'll be their loyal customers for a long time even in years to come.
