Two Birds One Stone

Two Bird One Stone set up by the same group behind Liar Liar, Three Bags Full and Apte. The cafe it self was sophisticated, warm with high ceilings, fresh flowers, panelled walls, mini tea cup hanging lighting. They have 80 seatings with small area outdoor and indoor they have varieties of seatings; communal table, window facing benches, tables of two and few booths for larger group. In terms of menu, they served breakfast all day and lunch after 11.30.

My first visit to Two Bird One Stone was close to their opening date since then this is my third visit, just because it's located on my train line. During all of my visits, they always serve generous portions.

Passionfruit and yoghurt pannacotta with lemongrass and saffron scented pineapple, fresh passionfruit and nut granola ($13). It was beyond generous, the whole bowl is pannacotta. The pannacotta is pretty dense but taste just right, not too sweet, not too sour.

Asparagus with house smoked salmon, potato hash brown, two poached eggs, salsa verde and bread crumbs ($18.5). It was delicious, the whole combinations just work well together.

I spotted the attractive Cherry, coconut friand ($4.5) on my out and decided to give it a try and it was moist and sweet.

Two Bird One Stones coffee provided by five senses and they offer extensive coffee menu such as aeropress, syphon, pour over, cold drip and espresso.

The cafe is located besides Adriano Zumbo, near South Yarra train station and accessible by train, tram and car. Bookings are allowed for group of 4 and more on Monday-Friday. Overall, Two Bird One Stone service is friendly and attentive, decent coffee, decent food, well decorated place.
