Hello Kitty Diner

Hello Kitty Diner makes it into my list of restaurant I should visit just because it's Hello Kitty and they are so cute. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and able to get a table straight away.

As expected, they have numerous Hello Kitty products in display in front of the diner as well as inside. The diner it self is typical US diner but decorated in a cute white and pink Hello Kitty colours.

There was no line at the time I ordered and payed on the counter. As some of you may have known, I always have a fascination with coffee art so this is a must order: Coffee by Mecca - Fat Elvis ($4). The cup was really small, taste just okay but the coffee art was decent.

Hello Kitty Doughnuts ($5.5). Their doughnuts were really sweet even for a sweets tooth like me, I think they have to start reducing the sugar. I can't imagine how long the sugar rush will stand if a kid eats it.

Cinnamon waffles - apple pie ice cream, salted caramel ($8). The apple pie flavour was really subtle, almost feels like a normal vanilla ice cream and the waffle was slightly tough outside and dense inside.

Their service was mainly teenager. They seems lost and clearly don't really understand the menu quite well. I have to admit that I had fun taking pictures of their decorations and cakes but I do not enjoyed their food at all. I think they have a good place going, all they need to do is improve on the quality of the food and create more of Hello Kitty theme food.
