Having more than one million subscribers across the social media platforms (Youtube, Website, Instagram), Bridget Davis is an internet sensation which her amazing culinary prowess is well known extending far beyond the boundaries her continent. After years of experience working in commercial kitchens, she has been online for 6 years to share with you all the tricks and trades to help you cook better, faster and healthier using video and recipes as a method.

Bridget is one of the few who knows what she wants to do for the rest of her life. Being a food obsessed since a very young age, she could think about cooking every day and read recipes book like a story book. In fact, travelling far away just for the food she loves is a nature for her. 
 
Starting a career at the age of 14 as a waitress in the family-run business, this oyster lover continued to sharpen her cooking skills by enrolling in a chef school for three years before being qualified at the age of 21.  The journey continued with all of her career life revolves around food and only around food. She never had a job in her life that does not involve food. 

“After nearly 30 years, with a couple of experience of working 42 days without a break and 100 hours a week for 5 years, your body can only go for so long. Maybe I want to live now?” explained Bridget why she decided to move into the internet business from her busy career life. She describes her experience working in a kitchen is like working in a military where discipline is highly required and she feels like going to war every dining session. She also mentioned that the cooking reality show nowadays is not realistic cause in the real life being a chef is not a glamorous job, at least not the first 10-15 years of your career.

In her preparation in opening her first blog, she read thousands of cook books, research materials online from credible sites and cooks for many people, and she has been taking a great pleasure in sharing her knowledge, experience and her beautiful recipes. “Learn as much as you can and never stop learning,” she said. It is one of her main life principle.

She is in love with what she’s doing because she believes that does not matter who you are, you will always have a voice online. “It is really beautiful to be able to share her wisdom cause online there is no gate keeper, stopping you from what you want to say.” As she believes that people should not keep their skill for themselves. 

After making hundreds of her own original recipes, she found it hard to pick her favorite recipes. “It is difficult for me to choose one, because it usually depends on my mood. Double Bake Chocolate Cake Gluten Free it’s my current favorite. It is really easy to make and I got a lot positive review about it,” says Bridget. 

Being in the internet business has a quite different lifestyle compare to working in conventional job. Bridget could see her children growing up every as she spent most of her time now working from home. Travel extensively, cooking class, wine and dine, and hang out with new people are the perks of being an internet chef. However, a work commitment limits her to have a physical human interaction apart from online interaction. She admits that she missed hanging out with her cooking friends in the kitchen. 

In the future, she planned to produce more than just an online content, maybe a TV show so she can reach wider audience educating the importance of health conscious food through her own cooking show. She always forced herself to take out of her comfort zone and she is excited about that.
