Serotonin (Invited-Revisited)

Serotonin is all about the "Science of Making You Happy", I have been too Serotonin more than 3 times since it's open. The cafe is bright and cheery, check out my other reviews of Serotonin (Revisited) & Serotonin Eatery for more info of their backgrounds and interior.
I was invited by Emily Hazell, the Head Serotonin dealer and Founder of Serotonin Eatery, Exercise and Education. She is a friendly, charming and very smart woman. We started with ordering some healthy and unique drinks recommended by Emily herself. Peanut Butter Latte - original creamy hot drink with plant based protein, nut butter spun on bonsoy ($8). The taste was light yet tasty.

Matcha Latte - fine organic green tea powder spun on Timboon cows milk ($7) with macadamia milk ($1). I honestly like their matcha latte with the original milk rather than macadamia but maybe that's just my preferences.

Espresso Coconut - a fresh whole coconut with 5 senses speciality espresso shot ($10). It was pretty weird at first but it begin to grow on me and we managed to finish all of them at the end.

Positive Pancakes - banana pancakes made by dehydrating organic bananas and grounding them into banana flour, served with house banana nice-cream, berries, yoghurt covered in roasted almond, organic agave ($22). My husband love this dish. Dominant banana flavour, super filling and this is one of the most popular menu at Serotonin.

Deconstructed Sushi - a rainbow bowl of pickled ginger, sliced diakon, raw carrot, capsicum, cucumber, avocado, on a bed of warm brown rice, quinoa, served with organic braggs liquid amino soy, fresh wasabi, wasabi peas ($17). The flavour was awesome, super delicious and fresh but I just wish there was salmon on top of it.

Fruit and Nut Magnum Nice-Cream - cashews, cacao, coconut oil, almonds, hazelnuts , raisins ($11). This is Emily's favourite dessert and honestly I think it was so cute and I can't help to take a selfie with it. The flavour was rich, dense and the portion was just nice.

Chocolate Raspberry Fondant - walnut, cashews, almonds, coconut, raspberries, cacao ($11). Who taught raw desserts could be something I like? The texture was soft, creamy but enjoyable.

We were stuffed by the end of the meal with a nice kind of warm feeling in the stomach. The service was super friendly and attentive. It was a happy and well made Saturday brunch.
