La Mama Del Gelato Anita is a world famous boutique ice cream started almost 20 years a go in a small Mediterranean kitchen with Mama Anita and her youngest son Nir. They started in Israel and if you ever go to Tel Aviv, you'll see a handful of their shop. Today it has become a successful international chain with branches all over the world. Anita's ice creams are 100% hand made from natural ingredients, it has over 150 flavours of ice cream, frozen yoghurt, organic sugar free, fat free, soy based and more. Each new flavour still has to get an approval from Mama Anita since she only wants the best flavour to be served. Anita opened in Sydney in 2013 with the encouragement from people behind Max Brenner.

I was refer to Anita by a couple of my friends in Sydney and since most of you have known I'm a big fans of ice cream, of course it gets my curiosity spike. The cafe it self is charming, airy and bright with natural lighting. It has plenty of seats inside and a couple on the outside over looking Central Park. I honestly love the place, it has a classic vibe yet modern and cozy.







After a lot of considerations and tasting. I ordered Black Forrest and Pistachio Gelato (Small-$5). It was the best Black Forrest ice cream I have ever tasted in my life, I'm still craving of it now. Their Pistachio is also not bad at all, it has a strong pistachio flavour but not over powering.

If it's not obvious, I love La Mama Del Gelato Anita so much. Their service is friendly, attentive and fast. Sadly, they only accept cash so make sure you have some with you. I hope they decide to open in Melbourne soon cause otherwise I have to keep flying to Sydney to get them.
