Darling Cafe

Darling Cafe opened merely 3 months a go. It's located on a very strategic corner of Toorak Rd and Darling St. South Yarra station no more than 2 minutes away, plenty of parking spots around as well as trams on the main road.
I went to Darling Cafe on a weekdays, I have passed by Darling a couple times and has always been loving the clean, minimal, modern but elegant vibe with plenty of natural lighting shinning through the open doors and windows. It's decorated with timber, black windows, wooden furnitures, marble counters and strategicaly placed gold colour here and there. I was a bit on edge when I arrived at Darling just because the train that day was chaos, replace by bus than train again. It takes me more than an hour to reach South Yarra, a trip that should only take 20 mins max. But the combinations of cozyness, sun and the wind throughout the cafe calm me down instantly and of course a cup of coffee.

I order my regular skinny cappuccino and the milk was fluffy, served on the right temperature but has a bit of sour taste in the end.

Organic Acai bowl - banana, apple, chia seeds, activated caramelised buckinis, coconut flakes & fresh berries ($16.5). Beautifully made acai bowl, it was fresh and full of flavour. Had the perfect balances in textures and flavour.

Brioche Burger - bacon, egg, cheese, tomato relish, kipfler potato & rocker ($15). The burger bun was fluffy but the rest was just average breaky burger.

Their service was friendly and attentive, the menu has a wok sections which are a bit out of place but in the same time unique. I honestly love the vibe, airyness and the natural lights part of the cafe.
