Helados Jauja is Argentinean ice creamery. Jauja is pronounced the Latin American Spanish way, "hkow-hka" and it means "absolute indulgence". They have indoor and outdoor seatings area both are really small. Indoor it's decorated by light wood with simple decorations of art, outdoor there are several wood benches. The most appealing attraction of course their ice cream display in front of their shop. Normally, they have 24 flavours to choose from. All Jauja ice cream and sorbet are made by natural ingredients. They also served beverages to accompany your ice cream, coffee by padre, tea and several other drinks.

One of their most unique flavour is Yerba mate, it is made of South American tea. It has a very distinct flavour, strong and slightly bitter. I personally don't really like rosewater flavour, I feel like eating a perfume.

For people with lighter palette then Coconut ice cream and Lychee Sorbet is the perfect mixture for you. I personally love this mixture for warmer days.

Another popular flavour is Dulche de leche choc chip. It was sweet, creamy and choc chip give a little bit of textures to the smooth ice cream. Blood orange is another of my favourite. It was fresh, fruity and refreshing.

One of their special flavour on that day is Aussie Pavlova and I love it, it was fresh, light and fruity. I partnered it up with another specials caffe latte and if you love coffee, you'll love this. The coffee flavour is strong, really feels like drinking a cup of coffee.

Helados Jauja held a masterclass event. It is a two hour event explaining how Jauja ice cream is made, learn about the ingredients, tasting the ice cream. The event starts at 3pm and the price is $55 dollar included 3 flavour take home package ice cream. You can book the event online on their website.

Helados is serious ice cream, it has a true and honest flavour. The only let down they melt pretty fast, so in summer cups is the better option than cone.
