Baba Sus

Baba sus represents modern take on breakfast and lunch with flavours of asia. The cafe has a small space outdoor in front of the cafe and indoor, well decorated spaces but they have limited spaces. It's a bit hard to accommodate large group number of people.

They are famous for their matcha latte but to be honest for me it was not as awesome as I thought it would be. Pretty plain needed more matcha in it. In terms of their coffee, it was just average.

They served Mork hot chocolate and as usual it was awesome but I prefer the thicker, darker versions of mork hot chocolate. They do cute hot chocolate bear or pig art, both of them are adorable.

The most famous dish is Hong Kong Egg Waffles - vanilla custard, berry compote, green tea ice cream, pistachio praline ($14). The Hong Kong waffles was crunchy with asian style garnish, love it. Green tea with blueberry and custard mixed together.

Inside Out - Scotch egg gyoza, ponzu mayo, mushrooms and smashed peas served on toast ($17.5) was unique cause they put gyoza mixed as the coating of the scotch egg and it works perfectly.

The CLT - char shao (BBQ) pork, lettuce, tomato, pickled daikon, coriander, hoisin, mayo, toasted turkish bread ($15) was way too dry, it needed more sauces. The meat taste good though.

The let down was It takes them a very very long time to bring out the food, our drinks are cold by then. Even though their staff was friendly and helpful. On weekends they are really really busy, prepare to wait.
