Ladurée is a well known French Luxury bakery and sweets created in 1862. They are still one of the best known makes of macarons in the world. Ladurée also famous of their well decorated store, elegant, classic with soft pastel colours and have a luxurious feeling to it. Anywhere in the world, Ladurée store is easy to spot with the grand logo, beautiful displays of the various cute, elegant boxes, amazingly well organised and pretty pastries and macarons.

I first tasted Ladurée long time a go in Paris when Ladurée was exclusively in France and I love it ever since. Not only for the famous macarons but also for their other patisseries. My favourite macarons are Ispahan, cafe, pistache and matcha green tea. In 2015, Ladurée now available in multiple cities at Europe, USA, Asia, Australia and Africa. I personally have tasted Ladurée in Singapore, New York, London and a couple of other branches and I have to say they are pretty consistent in term of flavours.

This review are based on my recent visit to Ladurée in Tokyo, Japan. I ordered a couple of macarons of course; citron which taste like refreshing oranges, Caramel a la Fleur de sel - basically caramel, tasted sweet but not too sweet, Melon - very fresh, light and definitely taste like melon and earl grey - light, smells nice just like drinking a cup of tea.

They also have wide ranges of their beautiful cakes, pastries, spreads, sorbets, ice creams and also their cute merchandises such as bags and key rings.

I love ice creams, could eat it any seasons of the year. They have eight flavours of sorbet and ice creams in combined. We ordered salted caramel and coffee ice creams and both of them remain my favourite for quite some time now but their strawberry sorbet is perfect if I'm in the mood for something light and fresh.

The one that impressed me the most is they served soft served, Shinjuku branch is the only one that served it. This is the first time I tasted Ladurée soft served. It came in several flavour options with different prices for different flavours. They have two size, small and large. And of course I pick Ispahan (Small - 648 yen) flavour - raspberry, rose, lychee and it was delicious. It was light but have deep flavours, sweet but not too sweet, smells really nice - flowery and fruity, the macaron crumbles and fruits mixed perfectly. This is another reminder why Ladurée is well known as a world leading bakery and sweets store.

Overall, always in love with Ladurée. The whimsical, elegant store with an amazingly well designs packaging and of course amazing flavour products will always drawn me to their store.
