Hugo's

Just finished dinner at YOMG, needed some coffee and I noticed this cafe at the corner of the road. The first thing I notice is the stunning donut, baklava and other cakes display in front of their store! It's very appealing from the outside. Inside there's even more cakes and pastry displays.

A little bit overwhelming and confusing. They sells donuts, baklava and other western and Japanese cakes. Basically they sell almost a bit of everything.

They sell strong Armenian coffee which a unique strong coffee set and the owner suggest it for a day time wake up drink. They also served normal coffee and it was just average, strong and a bit watery.

I ordered the donutella basically donut with nutella fillings. Their donut texture are closer to bread and a bit dry, very generous fillings. The donut quite pricey.

They have a lot of variety of baklava. They have different amount of sugar in it, the owner explain it to us that he categories it by the level of sweetness and toppings inside. The one I tried lack of crunchiness but taste good and not too sweet.

The owner was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The vibe of the cafe it self needs to be improved. It needed a little bit more decorations and organisations then it will become a modern and trendy cafe. It has a lot of potentials as well as competitor's because of the strategic locations.
