Tomboy is a small warehouse inspired cafe that has a dark lighting, a bit too dark so it has a shabby feeling to it. It has a gloomy rustic vibe with wood chairs and tables. They have a lot of sockets on their wall near the seatings area. So it is very convenient for you to charge your laptop or charging your phones. For me this things add a plus point, since sockets to charge your thing are not that common in Melbourne.

I ordered the fresh orange juice, it was made to order.  Very fresh and it has  a balanced natural sour and sweets flavour to it, which mean the orange was chosen perfectly. They have very limited variety of food to order. They need to add more variety to their menu to attract wider demographic of customers. In the end I decided to order their soup of the day which was tomato soup and it turns out nice. The coffee was decent.

There is only one lady guarding the place and she does not look pleased even though she is helpful. What I love the most was the drawing of the sad man on the wall. Very iconic and artsy. It is something that everybody will definitely notice it's uniquely at tomboy.
