River Kwai

River kwai is one of the best thai cuisine restaurant in clayton are. It's quite pricey and their portions are small but the taste of their food is good.

Their thai ice tea are not orange like other thai ice tea and to be honest they taste more of like english breakfast tea with milk rather than thai ice tea.

Their prawn tom yum ($12.90) was the best dish in this restaurant, fresh prawn, it was a bit thick with a balanced sweet and sour flavours.

Pad Prik Phow -  stir fried selected vegetables, toasted chilli jam and stir fry sauce with prawn ($ 21) was pretty good and most of the time they taste really fresh. They have tofu or chicken options too.

Their roti ($4.50) was not a winning point, they are served with satay sauce but they are a bit tough. The complimentary crackers are nice and addictive.

Red curry - thai red curry chicken with bamboo, pumpkin, beans, red capsicum and basil leaves ($20). They were good, thick, creamy and smell's really good. Mixed really well with the sweet coconut rice. Most of the dish in this restaurants have the options of prawn, chicken, beef or sometimes fish and pork.

They lack in service, I think they need more people. They are friendly though. The vibe of the restaurant is high class Thailand old kingdom. Very authentic Thailand with all the art work and red table cloth.
