Red Hot Wok is a Malaysian Chinese restaurant and has been in Melbourne for at least seven years. The restaurant it self are old and typical asian restaurant. Just simple, functional, pack with tables and chairs to fit as much as customers as possible with some Chinese symbol and ornaments.  





This restaurant has been consistent regarding the taste of most of their food for years. Must order: the silken sizzling tofu. It was so smooth and the sauces with minced pork and mushroom is to die for. Perfect for silken tofu lovers like me! I could eat one whole portions or more just by my self. 



The torch pork used to be one of the best but nowadays it was a bit tough and not as tasty. The apple chicken has been pretty consistent and it was refreshing with sweet sour chilli sauce, fresh apple and crunchy coating. 



Salted egg prawn, sambal kangkung, salt pepper calamari, red hot wok stir fry mixed veggies are quite popular as well. 




Their price has remain quite consistent as well through out the year and it is very reasonable price. The uncle and aunty that owns this place always friendly and served us free oranges at the end of the dinner. Reservations is recommended for a large group during weekends.
