Dean & DeLuca is a chain of  upscales grocery stores established originally in New York city's at the famous SoHo districts by Joel Dean, Girogio DeLuca and Jack Ceglic in September 1977. Japan is its first International store, opened back in 2003 at Tokyo and since then they have branch out to Singapore, Thailand, Middle East and many more to come.

Dean & DeLuca Shinjuku it's well stocked up with wonderful things, the store was bright, clean and very appealing. It is full of attractive gourmet pastries, ready made meals, spreads and sweets. They also served some drinks and have small seatings area.

Crash Chocolate Muffin (380 yen) it was moist but a bit crumbly. They are sweet, loaded with marshmallow, not so crunchy oreo.

Summer Vegetable Curry Foccacia (340 yen) it looks so pretty and appealing from the outside but the inside was equally awesome. Fresh summer vegetables with punching curry mixed pretty well.

Spicy Mayonnaise Roll (380 yen) was crunchy on the outside and the inside was pretty crunchy as well but still moist and the spicy mayonnaise taste good but I want more of the sauce.

Green Tea Scone (280 yen) was sweet but not too sweet and has some bitterness from green tea. Very crunchy on the outside and crumbly inside. Very thick and filling.

Black Rock Scone (280 yen) was very appealing to me, it just look like stone but it certainly taste good. Bitter sweet chocolate crumble in your mouth. Yum.

I tried one of the drinks called Peach Yoghurt Frappe (580 yen) and I'm really glad I did. It was delicious, fresh, sweet but nice kind of sweet, refreshing and the peach flavour really comes out. I would drink this anytime.

Overall, Dean & Deluca lift up to it's big name. The prices overall are not that cheap but they served decent portions. But it is certainly style over substances and pretty packages with good or average taste.
