Footscray Milking Station

This brunch spot located near the Footscary station within walking a close walking station. From the outside it look's old a bit shabby, warehouse vibe. Inside pretty much the same, classic old school brunch spot. It would be hard for large group of people since most of the seatings was design for 2-5 pp.

I ordered calamari salad that turns out soggy, not crunchy at all, the tartar sauce was thick, it has a closer texture to mayonnaise, the salad was nice and fresh, the dressings was refreshing. The breakfast brioche was a bit dry but quite tasty. The special soup of the day was carrot, it was too thin, very watery but the sweetness from the carrot are clearly presented. The coffee was good, perfect temperature and texture.

The service was quiet slow, even though I went there on a weekdays afternoon and not many people were there.
