Chez Dré

Been here many, many times.. Rustic warehouse settings with french desserts and brunch dishes! They are always busy and people are lining up to eat there or just take away their bread and cakes.. They have an outdoor and indoor space and they are quite big and able to accommodate large group number of people..

The coffee was okay and their brunch menu have a lot of variety. Most of them taste good. Standard taste and standard portions. The staff always very attentive and fast.

The eclair is one the best in melbourne.. The other cakes are also amazing because most of them are not so sweet.. Their raspberry speculas croissants was the best combination and super creative flavours for croissant and of course they tasted really good.. And they are big as well, definitely worth the money..

The smorses donut look so tempting, the texture of the doughnut it self was really good.. Fluffy and sweet.. The marshmallows on top was really sweet.. The filling it self very generous but a bit too generous for my taste.. Their pain au lait, was big crunchy.. The taste of the bread it self was good and not oily and the volume stays even though I bought some home and eat it the next day.. But the chocolate filling was barely there which is disappointing..

Their blueberry and yoghurt cruffin are huge and the blueberry fillings was really generous sweet and sour.. Very appealing appearance since it's huge and has white yoghurt lining under it.

The overall price for their bakery merchandise are quite pricey, but most of their baked good are quite big and filling. The most important things are they taste amazing.
